iRacer Alex Bergeron embarks on first official iRacing World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series season with RacingDude.com as sponsor.
Anyone who reads or listens to my podcast knows how much I love iRacing. I truly believe this simulator can prove worthwhile in real life racing as Alex Bergeron has already proven.
Read Virtual reality driving star taking his skills to the real world about Alex Bergeron earning an opportunity through iRacing to drive for the first time ever a real world dirt sprint car (he started the feature 18th, finished 6th).
Bergeron is a young French Canadian kid with an old school racer’s heart. Bergeron races everything on iRacing, and is in the NASCAR Peak Anti Freeze Series, an officially sanctioned NASCAR series on the service, and will be doing triple duty this year as he will also race in both World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model and Sprint Car officially sanctioned series’ this 2018 season starting tonight, May 7th at Eldora Speedway. You can watch live on iRacing.com/Live or Facebook.com/iRacing. Action starts at 9PM EST.
“I really want to start the season with a good result,” Bergeron shared. “It’s been an amazing year so far, quite a few big races under my belt, but my goal in this championship is to be consistent over the course of the season. Knowing the limits of the car will be crucial to get a good finish out of a race. It’s a long season of 12 races, so patience will be required to achieve my goals. I’m very glad I teamed up with RacingDude.com for the whole season as a partner.”
